ESD's Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan was accepted by Santa Clara County Office of Education this week. A continuity plan seeks to ensure students' learning progresses amidst things like the COVID-19 pandemic through innovative means of teaching and learning. The plan can be found in this story.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Although there is favorable weather today and for the rest of the week, the wildfires are only 15% contained. Based on unpredictability of the weather/wind, and with the safety of our staff being the number one priority, Chaboya, Clark, Matsumoto, and Silver Oak will remain closed for the rest of the week. For the safety of our community, Carolyn Clark, Chaboya, Matsumoto and Silver Oak School campuses will remain closed, however students will attend school online. For August 25, Child Nutrition Services (CNS) will not be be providing meals at these four school sites. Read story for alternative schools Grab 'n Go lunches are available.
